Dexter Laundry, Inc. is presently seeking an experienced Sales Manager for the eastern region of the U.S. and Canada.
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for management of all aspects of company business relationships with a network of leading commercial laundry equipment distributors. This position is responsible for establishing customer and territory goals, implementing and managing company sales and promotional programs, along with actively developing and training distributor personnel on Dexter vended and On-premise laundry products in order to maximize company and distributor sales performance.
This position reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing, and requires not only an experienced territory manager, but also a well-rounded business person capable of providing Dexter distributors with meaningful advice and feedback on all aspects of product distribution (business operations, managements, and customer support) in addition to information and training on Dexter products and support services.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of territory sales management experience of commercial/industrial laundry products or industries requiring similar technical aptitude such as HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, or appliances.
- Self-motivated with the ability to motivate and train others.
- Working knowledge of PC software including presentations, spreadsheets, and word processing.
- Strong group presentation and training skills.
- BA/BS degree or significant industry experience required.
- The position requires 50%+ overnight travel.
