5 Easy Ways to Improve Your Laundromat’s Web Site

Improving your laundry’s website doesn’t have to be a huge or costly project. You can make a few quick and easy changes that will make your site more effective and function as a better marketing tool for your laundromat.

1. Have how to contact you on every page of your website. You probably have a “contact us” page or a “request info” form, but how easy is it for customers to access it? Do you have your contact information on there so customers can reach you? Be sure to put your phone number and e-mail address on every page (preferably on the top) to give customers an easy way to know how to contact you.

2. Update your current news or press release section. Keeping your site up to date is not only important to your customers, but also to the search engines. Old news is a negative sign that nothing new is happening at your laundromat. Try to keep your news section updated frequently to keep your customers coming back to visit.

3. Update old content. Outdated information or promotions keep your commercial laundry customers from finding out what’s really important on your website. Consider this the most important way you make an online impression and be sure to keep content fresh and up to date.

4. Add photos of people. You’ve heard the phrase a picture is worth a thousand words? It’s true! Your laundromat customers are visually oriented and will be attracted to photos of other people. Consider taking pictures of your regular customers (with their permission of course) and posting them on your laundry’s website. It’s a great way to show customers how fun and inviting your laundromat can be. If your laundromat has special features such as a concession area, Easy Card or something else, be sure to show your customers using these services.

5. Add a form on your “Contact Us” page. Of course you want to have your phone number and e-mail throughout your laundromat’s website, but you also want to have a form that gives your customers another option for contacting you and gives you a chance to collect valuable information. Be sure to leave a comments field so that customers can ask you questions or give you feedback about your laundry.
