 The Hangout Laundry was the first laundry in Australia to combine a laundromat, dry-cleaning and a coffee shop. Originally a bank building, the designers kept some of the original fixtures in the laundry’s design, including the teller counter which had Dexter machines built into it. This counter is now one of the busiest social points of the laundry.
“After a decade of continuous washing and drying our Dexter machines still look and run great,” said owner Debbie Moore. “Performance wise you could not outperform Dexter machines. Moore loves the stainless steel on her Dexter machines and loves the “modern and funky look” that they have given to her laundry.
The Moore’s now own another 4 Hangout Valet Laundries located throughout Sydney and all of the laundries use Dexter laundry equipment.
